WHO rapid advice guide on use of chest imaging in COVID-19 was published last week

Dear Colleagues,

We are very happy to inform that  the WHO rapid advice guide on use of chest imaging in COVID-19 was published last week. It can be downloaded from the WHO website under COVID-19 technical guidance / clinical care  https://www.who.int/publications/i/item/use-of-chest-imaging-in-covid-19. In this page you will find the main body of the guide with the recommendations, and also two online annexes providing the results of the evidence review and the GRADE evidence-to-decision tables. Please feel free to disseminate the link through your distribution lists and social media.

The guide was published in English, and we are now working on the translation of the guide into the other 5 UN official languages (i.e. Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic and Chinese) and Portuguese. We already received kind offers to translate it  into other languages. Translation of the guide will facilitate its dissemination and use at the point of care bay health care workers involved in the assistant of patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19.

We wish to use this opportunity to thank those who contributed to dissemination of the stakeholder survey and/or in any other capacity. We will consider the development of derivative products to support its implementation such as infographics, leaflets, monitoring/evaluation tools,  se we may contact you to share the plans and receive your feedback, suggestions and advice.
